Terms & Conditions
Deposit and Payment
The client agrees to pay Lynne Bookhorn Photography, hereinafter called LBP, a deposit of $50.00 at the time of booking to secure their appointment date and time. This is a non-refundable. This covers the time and talent of photographer, basic retouching and creative editing of images, as determined by LBP. The balance is to be paid on the day of the shoot.
Once payment has been made, the following terms and conditions apply.
Re-shoots
Re-shoots are determined at the discretion of the LBP.
Session Punctuality & Rules:
Please make every effort to be at your session on time. Please know that if you are late, it will be docked from your time allotted as some sessions are back-to-back with other clients. If you fail to show up on time or not at all you will forfeit all money paid. *Session starts at the agreed upon time. It is strongly encouraged that client arrives 15 minutes prior to the start of session. Please do not take any photos with your phone or own camera during your session and follow direction of the photographer at all times. It is preferable that only one person attends the session to avoid distractions that may unsettle your pet. A session may be stopped and cancelled at any time if the photographer is not happy with their safety and or that of the client. Abuse of any kind will not be tolerated. Please have your dog reasonably groomed and free from dirt and mud and wetness.
Use of Images by LBP
Once images have been captured of your pet, you agree to LBP to use, re-use, publish and re-publish the same in whole or in part, separately or in conjunction with other photographs, in any medium now or hereafter known, and for any purpose whatsoever, including (but not by way of limitation) illustration, promotion, advertising and trade, and you release and discharge LBP from all and any claims and demands ensuing from or in connection with the use of the photographs, including any and all claims for libel and invasion of privacy.
Liability
LBP is not responsible for any injuries inflicted upon any participating parties. Client(s) will be responsible for their pet and for themselves and release photographer from any claims against their person or their business. Leashes can be left on your pet as these can be removed in post-production. the use of harnesses is not encouraged as these are not as easily removed in post editing. If you insist on the use of a harness, then please know that these will remain in place in the end resulted images.
Copyright
LBP retains all copyrights to all images created during client’s session. Copying any images in any way (scan, downloading, snipping tool, saving a copy etc) from any one of my social media platforms including my website, and client gallery, for your own use is illegal. Digital files may be purchased however this does not allow publication of the images (i.e. entering in contests etc), selling or editing/altering of your images without the photographer’s written permission. Watermarks where used may not be removed/cropped out and all credit must be given to LBP at all times.
Editing
Editing is at the discretion of LBP and no correspondence will be entered into after images are provided to the client.
Why all the rules?
I have invested thousands of dollars on cameras and lenses, computer and editing software to enable me to take the images that I take pride in providing you. On top of this, I have spent hundreds of hours into specific dog photography education that is ongoing to capture these images for you.
